18 Feb 2005 : Server offline due to disk crash
FreeUnix.dyndns.org was offline from 22h00 (17-Feb-2005) due to a disk crash :(. The machine is reinstalled
with a bigger and faster disk. All services are available again, except FTP, because nobody
seemed to use it anyway.
26 Jan 2005 : new pictures
The pictures page received an update : new shots of my
computers are available.
5 Jan 2005 : Site restyling + RSS feeds added
IMHO it was time to restyle the site again. I also added RSS feeds from Slashdot and Freshmeat.
The feeds are updated every hour.

Anonymous FTP access has been restored. Use passive FTP and connect to port 9021.

The server was down for a hardware upgrade. At the same time, I migrated the server from FreeBSD 4.10
to Slackware 10. Most of the functionality is available again. If something is broken, don't hesitate to contact me.

Freeunix.dyndns.org is now hosted on the former test machine and runs on FreeBSD.
The uplink speed is increased to 192 Kbps. Site stats are now also provided by
AWstats.
